Datacare Software Group Launches Version 2.0 of Global Corporate Manager, Including Support for the New Electronic Filing Formats of SEC forms 3, 4 and 5
NEW YORK, June 1, 2003 - Datacare Software Group (DSG) is pleased to announce the launch of version 2.0 of its leading entity management application, Global Corporate Manager (GCM).
Version 2.0 of GCM adds new and improved functionality which further cements DSG's position as the global leader in the supply of true web-based entity management and subsidiary governance software. Version 2.0 represents the results of months of client feedback and analysis, as well as forced changes as a result of new legislation, specifically the Sarbanes Oxley Act 2002.

Some of the changes in version 2.0 include:
- Implementation of the new SEC electronic filing formats: Clients will be able to electronically file SEC forms 3, 4 and 5 straight to the new EDGAR web site with no third party fees or vendor participation required.
- Implementation of the new UK Companies House electronic filing formats: Clients will be able to electronically file the UK forms 288a, 288b, 288c, 287 and 363a direct to Companies House.
- Automated Voting Interest % calculations & graphical group tree: In addition to creation of group organizational charts under different methodologies, this new feature will automatically create a tree based on the Voting control within all domestic and international subsidiaries.
- Improved Group Charting Export features: All group charts can now be exported to Microsoft Word, PowerPoint or Adobe PDF formats. Group charts can also be produced for any subset of a larger group.
- Multiple style sheets to choose from: End users have the ability to choose their preferred look and feel for GCM. In addition to the existing customization features, the end user can adopt new screen colors and styles for the GCM interface.
- XML data extraction: Data can be extracted on a scheduled basis from the GCM database using DSG's XML schema. This provides clients the opportunity to better integrate with other in-house applications.
- Numerous new reports, forms and documents.
