Omnicom Finds a True Web-based Entity Management Solution in Global Corporate Manager
LONDON, July 22nd, 2002 - Datacare Software Group is to install its web-based corporate entity management software, Global Corporate Manager (GCM) at the European head office of client, Omnicom Europe Limited.
In seeking a solution that would meet the changing needs of the organisations, Omnicom evolved from using Datacare's Secretariat product for a number of years to Datacare's multi-faceted web-based product, GCM.
Sally-Ann Bray, Group Company Secretary at Omnicom Europe said, "Having been a long-term user of Secretariat, we believe that Global Corporate Manager is a natural progression for our organisation. However the actual decision to proceed was only made after conducting a detailed review of the marketplace and GCM stood out against the rest."
GCM is stored on the client server and available through their secure Intranet. Its customisable and scalable architecture allows for any number of users worldwide to access the site while maintaining the highest security available. Its easy-to-navigate layout is instinctive and the Favourites feature makes complex tasks much easier and faster. Omnicom is currently rolling out GCM as a UK solution, but the possible future opportunities are unlimited.
