Alticor Inc. Selects Datacare's Global Corporate Manager
NEW YORK, NY, July 12, 2001 - Datacare Software Group Inc., is pleased to announce that Alticor Inc., the US parent of Amway and Quixtar, has selected Datacare's Global Corporate Manager ™ (GCM) product to manage their growing number of US & International subsidiaries.
In seeking a solution Alticor conducted extensive due diligence to ensure that their choice met the business needs of the Corporate Legal department, yet also fitted in with their technical requirements - namely a true web-based application.
Barb Newhof, Alticor's Legal Systems Director said, "The technical architecture that GCM is built on was a significant influence behind our decision because this application brings the data and the documents on a number of different computers to one central server. From a central location, we are able to easily deploy GCM to our growing number of users. The 128-bit encryption security means that people working in remote sites or our outside Counsel have access to all our data."

Alticor will install GCM at their Ada, MI headquarters. In addition to being utilized by the legal department at their HQ, it will also be accessed by their US and International legal departments and their outside Counsel. Datacare's own implementation teams in the North America and Europe will oversee the rollout.
